Diana Catalina Beltran Gonzalez serves as learning and delivery manager for Wyndham Hotel Group, managing mainly hotel trainings in the emerging market of Latin America and training owners and operators on the company’s culture and services. She also supports training efforts in North America and is currently focused on bridging gaps in training opportunities between the two regions.

Previously, Beltran was sustainability and innovation manager for Wyndham Worldwide, Wyndham Hotel Group’s parent company, where she managed the development and implementation of sustainability based programs for Wyndham Hotel Group. In that role, she was responsible for training owners and operators on the company’s internal energy management program, which tracks, measures and manages sustainability efforts. She also oversaw certification programs and reporting requirements for owned and managed hotels.

Prior to Wyndham, Beltran held various positions at the Grand Hyatt New York, including sales corporate management trainee, sustainability manager and most recently, social responsibility manager. In that role, she was responsible for leading the hotel’s sustainable, philanthropic, and volunteer and community outreach initiatives.

Beltran started her career at Sofitel Miami in room operations where she became lead trainer for the front office, an intern for sales & catering and leader of the property’s first green team.

Beltran is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami, Fla., with a bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism, and a minor in Hotel and Lodging. She received her master’s in Science in May 2014 from Columbia University’s Sustainability Management program.
